Form 5 become Celts for the day - May 2007

Last Friday Form 5 had Celtic Day.  We built a little Celtic village and put Celtic clothes on.  We put woad (blue face paint) on our faces and lime (hair gel) in our hair to make us look scary.  We collected wood for a fire and had story telling before lunch.  For lunch we had rabbit stew with a bit of deer (actually beef and carrots!).  We enjoyed Celtic marshmallows for pudding.  We also made torcs, which were thought to give you magical powers.  We had a wonderful day and we would like to thank Mr Raeburn-Ward and Mrs Sliwinski for setting it up.
