Form 8

History and Activity Trip to Virginia Water

Dear Parents,

 

 

We are organising a trip for Form 8 to Virginia Water on Wednesday 2nd July. Form 8 will spend a day in the park and doing activities based around the totem pole.

 

Form 8 has been studying the Native American people, in particular the Plains Indian tribe.  A trip to Virginia Water is an opportunity to bring some musical instruments, create Plains Indian style dances and to draw the totem pole. It will be a fun and interesting way to finish the term’s work.

 

As the trip is outside, please can your child be dressed in their school tracksuit. Children need to be supplied with a packed lunch. Please could everyone bring water for their drink (no fizzy drinks or chocolate).

 

If the weather is hot, please ensure your child has sun cream and a named hat with them as well.

 

We will be travelling by minibus, with a driver.  To cover the cost of transport a contribution of approximately £7 per child is requested. This will be added to your school account.
