On Friday 24th
April, Foundation Stage enjoyed a beautiful walk to the Bluebell
Woods. We climbed under stiles and over gates to reach the
woods that were out in glorious blue bloom. The children had a
super time using magnifying glasses to discover the world, doing
drawings and sketches in chalk and crayon and peeking under logs
to find minibeasts.
Most children
however, relished the climbing opportunities presented by fallen
logs and low branches and with the help of our Form 1S pupils,
the children negotiated all sorts of tree climbing challenges.
It was a super morning and much to our surprise and glee we even
saw a deer leaping through the wood.
