The foundation stage classes (Reception and Nursery) are currently focused on the topic of "celebrations". This week they have been concentrating on the topic of weddings. The highlight of the week was a "real" wedding that was held in Marlston Church conducted by Reverend Toogood.

This saw Anfisa given away by her "father" for the day - Elliot. She was "marrying" Finlay who supported by best man George (dressed in a dashing armed forces outfit). The chief bridesmaid was Sophia and the page boy was Matthew. Evan was chief usher. The church was packed with a congregation from Ridge House (Form 8, the rest of the reception class and nursery) to hear Anfisa and Finlay exchanging their vows. 

The nursery and reception classes then aptly held a wedding "reception" to celebrate the happy day.
