Arrangements: A minibus will depart from School at 7.15am as the lighter weight categories need to weigh in at 8.15am. (Parents may prefer to transport children directly to Wycombe Judo Centre. If this is the case please let me know via email).
Please make sure you have a clean judo kit that is the correct size. The school will provide a packed lunch.

The IAPS Judo congress is an annual event. This year we are taking a large team and looking forward to an exciting day of Judo.
The boys will be transported to the Judo centre as outlined in the fixture details. The return time is less easy to predict, (as the finish time of each weight category is dependent on the number of competitors in that group). The boys will be provided with a packed lunch from school.
Each boy will take part in at least two fights and depending on the outcome of these may progress further in the competition. Individual gold silver and bronze medals are awarded in each weight category and all boys will receive a Certificate of Participation. There is a trophy awarded to the first and second placed teams.
I would be most grateful if you could send me a contact number via email for that day so that I can let you know when we anticipate being back at school.
All parents are very welcome to come and watch. The High Wycombe Judo Centre is located just off junction 4 of the M40. Directions can be found by searching maps on google.
