BBC1 Children in Need team film a choir practice, complete with Pudsey!

BBC film crew bring Pudsey to Brockhurst and Marlston House

BBC1 South Today presenters Sarah Farmer and Edward Sault were at Brockhurst and Marlston House Schools on Tuesday 10 October to film sequences to be aired as part of the BBC Children in Need evening in November.

The presenters were filmed entering the school and then interviewing members of the Chamber and Senior Choirs during a rehearsal for the song ‘Over the Rainbow’ which will be performed live on the night. Director of Music Cliff Rowley said that is was a very special occasion and that he and the choir were proud to be associated with such a worthwhile cause.

And at the end of the interviews the choir members were introduced, with ecstatic cheering, to the celebrity of the Children in Need event, Pudsey.

More photographs, including preparation for the opening sequence filmed using a drone, are available in the Photo Gallery.
