They beat Chelsea Sussex Development Centre 4-1 and partnered each other at the heart of the Lions defence.
Jake was immaculate and used his pace to cover round whenever there was trouble.
Luca's strike-tackling was excellent and he gave no time or room for the Chelsea front line to settle.
In all the boys won three and lost one of their matches with the Lions.
They beat Chelsea Foundation FC 9-0 in the opener but were brought straight back down to earth with a heavy 7-0 defeat by Wycombe Wanderers FC's academy.
Jake was probably the only Prep School Lion who looked academy standard that evening as the boys were taught a lesson in high pressing.
But Luca still came off at the end saying he had enjoyed the experience, which was a testament to the spirit in the squad.
Next came a rival team from the South East, the Prep School Pumas and a 4-2 win for the Lions.
Jake bossed proceedings in his favoured midfield role and Luca was complimented by the coach for the way he recovered to play so well in the second half after an early error.
What shone through in these matches was the way the Brockhurst boys enjoyed their football and never let their heads drop, whatever challenges came their way.
The fun continued even when opponents were trying to provoke them verbally, as happened in the last two matches, and the Brockhurst pair refused to be put out of their stride.
They finished the fixtures as they had begun - winning against a Chelsea team, in some style!
Well done Jake and Luca!
