A fun evening was held in the PAC with our own Mr Templeman as Quiz Master.
A grand total of £1021 was raised for the BMR with £260 from the Heads and Tails to go to the Music Department.
At morning Assembly Molly (Form 2) presented a cheque for £406 to Dingleys whose mission is to deliver life changing support....
Congratulations to the Form 2 boys who undertook the Abingdon Business Challenge. They were placed second out of nine local prep schools at the end of a testing afternoon.
The boys had ninety minutes to design a product, prepare the marketing including the packaging and organise their presentation to the assembled judges.
On 12 March 2017 Emily (Form 1S) took part in Woodley Festival of Music and Arts in Reading. Entering just two classes this time Emily was delighted to win both the 15 and under Concerto class playing Vivaldi on her recorder and the 18 and under recital class on her bassoon.
Congratulations to Mrs Miller's U11A team who won silver medals at the Newbury Netball Tournament at Park House on 18 March 2017.
An external LAMDA examiner will visit the school and all the pupils currently following the LAMDA ‘Introductory’, ‘Speaking Verse and Prose’ and ‘Acting’ syllabus’ will be entered for the examinations unless otherwise advised.

Friday March 17
Yet another day of unbroken sunshine for us here at the Chateau! The pupils worked hard in this morning's lesson and managed to use the past tense (which we have spent a lot of time studying in class) successfully to talk about their holidays last year.

In an IT lesson 1 South learnt about robotics and how to code them. They were given two robots, one for the boys, which was called MIP, and the other the girls named MIPSY. We were then put into competition against each other (girls vs boys) to see

On Saturday 11 th March a strong team of 8 boys went to compete in the boys IAPS judo competition at High Wycombe Judo Centre. All the boys took part in a minimum of two fights but most had 4 or 5.
There were hard fights but overall Max and Tom got a silver medal each, Daniel got a bronze medal and Seb and I both won a gold medal.
