Dance has become extremely popular during the last two term, thanks especially to the efforts of the ladies from West Berkshire Ballet School.
On Thursday the Performing Arts Centre was filled almost to capacity as parents and supporters of the dancer came to support. They were treated to an exciting variety of dance routines, each presented by a different age group.
Especially worthy of praise were the lovely costumes, each group of children dressed according to the season of the year that their dance represented. Perhaps primus inter pares were the senior girls who were performing a dance study of autumn. They were in stunning, but sombre browns and understated dark greens and for just a moment the audience was reminded that these girls, now in their last term, are in the autumn of their Marlston House career.
