Brockhurst & Marlston House Schools
In the Early Years Foundation Stage we recognise that every child is unique. The Nursery and Reception pride themselves by providing a playful, safe, happy stimulating environment enabling our children to flourish both socially and academically. Children in the early years are constantly learning and are developing resilience and confidence. Children develop important life skills such as curiosity, creativity, persistence, independence, imagination and resourcefulness.
All our children follow the Early Years Foundation Stage curriculum which is tailored to suit every child’s learning needs and abilities. Our curriculum and experienced staff scaffold and enhance children’s learning and abilities so that they can reach their full potential. The school day is full of exciting opportunities where children learn through a mixture of play, child initiated and teacher led activities.
