David Fleming
HEADMASTER
MA (Oxon), MSc
David was educated first at Brockhurst and then Radley Collge.
He is a science graduate of Oxford University (Trinity College) where he studied under Professor Richard Dawkins and Lord John Krebs.
He then spent five years studying medicine in London and took a further MSc at Reading University before joining Brockhurst. Whilst London, he served HAC regiment.
He has been Head of twenty years and in that time he has applied his interest in science to developments in education.
Both his daughters were educated at Marlston House before progressing to Downe House School and from there to study sciences at Bristol and Oxford Universities.

Stuart and Bronwyn joined Brockhurst & Marlston House in 2006 with their family from Merchiston Castle School, Edinburgh, and have been instrumental in developing our outstanding full and flexi-boarding provision ever since. They have three daughters, all of whom attended Marlston House before moving on to Downe House.

Mrs Wanda Leatherdale provides independent oversight of regulatory compliance.
Oversight governors are drawn from current or past parents with expertise in the relevant fields.
